Custom Domains

Custom domains let published Pages use a domain or subdomain you control.

Add A Domain

  1. Open Settings → Domains.
  2. Enter a domain, such as pages.example.com.
  3. Follow the setup button when provider setup is available.
  4. If automatic setup is not available, copy the DNS records shown on the page.
  5. Select Check DNS status after the records have had time to update.

Domain Statuses

A domain can be a draft, pending DNS, pending hostname setup, pending SSL, active, failed, or disabled. If a domain shows an error, review the DNS records shown in the table and check status again.

Plan Requirements

Adding or checking custom domains requires Pro or Custom. Existing active domains may continue serving, but adding new domains requires an eligible plan. The number of domains an organization can add is also limited by plan; remove an unused domain if you hit that limit.

Remove A Domain

Use Remove only when you are ready for Pages to stop being served from that domain.
